Keyboard player. He's main interface between the band and the samplers. Able to write both vintage-flavoured riffs and hypnotic openings as many orchestral arrangements. He's very active in doing remixes and shows a great movement ability on stage (even thanks to a comfortable bionic graft replacing his spine). His verve is a lethal weapon against boring/ignorant/interviewers. And against assholes.
At the age of 6 he attends piano private lessons, to prepare himself for conservatory. Aged 12 he already reveals a strong protagonist attitude, expecting his teacher to take in consideration some of his personal harmonic variations on Bach preludes.
Disappointed for her denial, he falls in love with heavy metal.
He buys his first record, Ronnie James Dio's Dream Evil, scared of its cover. Later it's time for Iron Maiden, AC/DC and Motley Crue.
At that point, 13 years old, he's a real rebel and he escapes from home.
At the age of 14, inspired by some police TV-movies -of whom he's a true fanatic- he pretends a kidnapping attempt, just to hide some of his "not actually brilliant" classworks from his family. He then studies an intricate plan (even causing himself strange injuries) and throws the folder into the trash can. But when it's time to expose the facts at the police station, he makes some mistakes in reconstructing the events.
Aged 15 he meets Samuel for the first time -who recruits him for his first band- and his relationship with music begins to be more satisfying.
He passes conservatory's fifth year examination and enters Jazz music school. He listens to Keith Jarrett and Michel Petrucciani.
He plans to get a complete music equipment: in order to finance the operation, he begins to teach every existing music instrument -bluffing sensationally- to all of his block's families. There's a rumour that he's even taught singing technique.
This is the way he buys his first keyboard, that he then exchanges with a sampler, whom he gives for sale in a shop in order to buy an expander, that he exchanges for a drum machine, that…… When the band Amici Di Roland recruites him for their as mad as powerful project (trash-punk versions of cartoons tunes) he shows with just one keyboard (30 euro worth) fixed with paper tape to a clothes-hook leant on his shoulder. Even today, he probably hasn't got a working instrument yet totally belonging to him.
Max accepts his candidature -not without hesitations- to Subsonica project, with Samuel warmly supporting it. From the on, for the first three albums, he'll be his only partner in exhausting studio-marathons, even 16 hours a day.
He shows producer's qualities. During his free nights he's often busy with his electro-house DJ carreer.
He's able to fall asleep during daytime in every possible position/condition. He sleeps during night time too. Actually he's always asleep and when he's awake he finds the time to be bored.
